Adidas Adizero Tee in Yellow

Here’s James Willstrop (left) and Ramy Ashour from the semifinals of the 2013 North American Open. I like Willstrop’s kit here — nice yellow theme. Not to be confused with his orange look, which goes better with his shoes.

Anyhow I tracked down this shirt. It’s called the Adidas Adizero Tee. It comes in a few colors but here is the yellow guy:

Video of Willstrop and Matthew From the Front Wall

Thanks to Daily Squash Report for linking to Steve Cubs’ video of James Willstrop and Nick Matthew at the 2013 British Nationals. Nick Matthew won the match in 3 to become 5-time British national champ.

It’s a rare treat to watch an extended squash video from the front wall like this. Enjoy:

Update: Steve also captured the epic fifth game of the finals between Laura Massaro and Alison Waters, which Alison won to become 3-time British national champion:

Here’s another photo from DailySquashReport showing James Willstrop in action at the “Showdown at Symphony” event.

Looks like we can make out he is still using the Prince EXO3 Tour Squash Racket.

He’s got some new shoes for this season though — the Adidas Adipower Stabil 10.

James Willstrop Squash Profile

James Willstrop first reached #1 in the PSA World Tour world squash rankings in January 2012. He hails from Yorkshire, England. He’s a vegetarian and has written a book, Shot and a Ghost, chronicling a year on the professional squash tour. He’s also a damn fine squash player.
