North American Open Squash Tournament

All Squash Source posts about the North American Open squash tournament.

Here’s James Willstrop (left) and Ramy Ashour from the semifinals of the 2013 North American Open. I like Willstrop’s kit here — nice yellow theme. Not to be confused with his orange look, which goes better with his shoes.

Anyhow I tracked down this shirt. It’s called the Adidas Adizero Tee. It comes in a few colors but here is the yellow guy:

By the way, Tarek Momen busted out a new racket for his match with Chris Gordon — the Prince EXO3 Rebel. Prior to that he had the Dunlop Biomimetic GTX 140. Amr Shabana is not amused.

The North American Open is going on now in Richmond. The USA’s Chris Gordon upset both Adrian Waller and Zac Alexander, both times by scores of 12-10 in the fifth, to reach the main draw, where he will face off against Tarek Momen.

Here’s Chris, with Zac Alexander in the background:

Looks like since the US Open, Chris has switched to the Tecnifibre Carboflex 130. He also has a new red and black version of the Adidas Adizero BT Feather.
