Squash World Series Finals 2013

Post image for Squash World Series Finals 2013

The World Series Finals are going on right now. It’s an end-of-year tournament featuring the top 8 players on the PSA Tour (minus Ramy Ashour, who withdrew due to injury).

You can watch the action on PSA Squash TV.

One of the great things about the World Series Finals is the color of the court. What a lovely photo, above, by Jordan Mansfield for the PSA World Tour’s Facebook page.

Some equipment notes so far:

Check out James Willstrop with the Adidas AdiPower Stabil 10s in red:

I’ve seen him before with the same pair of shoes in blue, but looks like he busted out the red pair for the Queen’s Club’s pink court.

Speaking of new shoes, looks like Karim Darwish has switched to the newest version of the Asics Gel Blade 3 in white / blue (hard to tell in this picture though):

Amr Shabana also has an equipment change — not sure which racket this is, but the crowd at the PSA World Tour’s Facebook page seems to think it’s still the Dunlop Biomimetic Ultimate, just with an updated paint job for 2013 (update: turns out it’s an old Dunlop Ice Custom Elite):

I might update this page as the tournament progresses.

Hi Jeroen,

Now that I look closely it DOES look like a new paint job – thanks for the tip!

I have seen this picture earlier this year from twitter and that was for a photoshoot from Dunlop.
