Here’s a shoe called the Asics Gel Task W, which is worn by at least three top women players.
It’s actually a bit of an older model at this point, and hard to find, but there are a few pairs still out there.
This is Alison Waters wearing the blue version in the 2013 British Open:

Some more shoes for the ladies tonight, the Asics Gel Rocket 6 for women. I do like this white / silver / blue combination.
Also, I have an announcement to make: I recently hired a woman named Nupur to help me draft posts on Squash Source. Please join me in welcoming her! Nupur is from India and has played a bit of squash herself.
I found Nupur through elance.com. She’s been helping me prepare all the images and affiliate links on this site for the last few posts. (I’m still writing the text.) I’m very excited about this development because I’m hoping it’ll allow me, or now: us, to keep publishing regular equipment posts while also freeing me up to work on a few projects and ideas for improving the site. So stay tuned for those updates!
Anyway here are those Asics Gel Rockets:

Hey ladies, check out the Nike Women’s Court Shuttle V in white, with a dash of “atomic purple”, because when you play squash in these, you master the game right down to the atomic level. Seriously though, these are classy.

This is the Asics Gel Tactic for women. Is that powder blue? I know I’m sometimes a bit annoyed by the “powder” colors for women, but I think this one looks pretty dope, and mercifully they don’t call it Powder Blue.

The black style is pretty badass:

They also have this in “Diva Blue”. Oy. Who comes up with these colors? Ladies, do you like these colors or would you prefer just blue? I am curious.

Anyway here’s white, which mercifully is not called Powder White.
