From Rod:
I thought I ought to share with you a backpack that I bought recently which would be excellent for someone who wanted a small bag that can easily handle 2 rackets, a change of clothes, shoes and at the same time have lots of zippered pockets to organize accessories and valuables. I actually bought this bag for the gym and had zero intention of using it for my squash gear but it actually perfect for that purpose!
I was after a gym bag with a separate shoe compartment (that could fit my size 14 shoes!) with good organization which was high quality and durable. This backpack appeared to check all those boxes and I also liked the fact that it came with a removable wet/dry bag and had laser cut ventilation holes and antimicrobial protection to prevent gym bag funk. The green internal lining also makes it a little easier to find stuff.
What makes this a good option for squash is that the main compartment opens from the back and there is a laptop storage pocket that can easily fit 2 racket heads. Then the dual zippers for the main compartment close around the racket shafts and only the grips stick out. There are still additional pockets inside the main compartment that can hold an iPad and zippered pockets that are good for protein bars etc and then 2 more small pockets on the side that I keep a heart monitor and headphones in.

A few months further into my experience with this bag and it is still really really good, no issues with durability whatsoever. I don’t use it for squash often due to the fact that I have a large squash bag for that purpose, but I definitely could see somebody using it as their primary bag if they don’t want to lug around a big bag.
