Product Info

From the product description:

A classic model reborn again. The original Quicksilver was introduced in the 2000-2001 season and won a large following at all levels of squash. For the Quicksilver TC, the original frame shape and specifications have been respected, but the materials and structure have been brought up tothe absolute latest standards. It comes pre-strung with the unique PowerNick 18 from Ashaway, and wrapped the handle with a super-tacky Rad Cushion grip. The Quicksilver TC is an outstanding choice for control players that like light racquets with a head light balance.

    Hi there,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK? I bought a Quicksilver nXs recently, but BK has messed about with the balance and it’s now head heavy rather than even.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I should also mention that I have looked around on the internet quite extensively and found several redundant webpages for UK retailers (as they no longer stock this racket, but they still show up in search engines).

Obviously it’s available from the US and Canada, however I’m a bit loathe to spend US$135.00/C$170.00 + international shipping on a racket that I’ve not used before.

      Cheers.

I have been looking for them as well seems you can only get them from the US. However whilst searching Ebay I found this listing for two of them used, hope this reaches you in time! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Knight-QuickSilver-nXS-Squash-Racket-Pair/153254564142

Thanks for the info Ben, however the E-bay auction isn’t for the Quicksilver TC, it’s for the Quicksilver nXs:

          https://www.squashsource.com/black-knight-quicksilver-nxs/

which is the racket I mentioned in my original post, that is now head heavy.

I notice in the description for the auction it says the balance is Head Light and the string is PowerNick 18. Neither of which is correct. A bit of lazy listing by the seller I suppose.

Guess I’ll keep an eye in the UK for a little while longer, but I may have to swallow the cost of importing a couple from the US or Canada.

If you spot anything else feel free to let me know.

My mistake, apologises! I have contacted BK themselves to see if there is any chance someone stocks them a bit closer to home. I was looking at getting the NXS a while ago but after reading many reports of the racket being head heavy rather than head light I choose to advoid them. Will let you know if I find anything else out or if there is a suitable alternative.

I Absolutely adore the head-shape of this racquet.

played with it a while back, controls good, powers good, nice and light just good all around really.
good for short swings and scrappy encounters.
