Note: this racket has been replaced by the Dunlop Apex Synergy 2.0.
Reviews
Here’s my own review of the Dunlop Apex Synergy. In short I think it’s a good deal for the price. In the video I mention about the weight of the racket but I didn’t explain myself very clearly. It’s listed as 120 grams unstrung, but it feels heavier than that in the hand (not necessarily a bad thing). I measured it on my home scale as 155 grams all-in, which would roughly equate to more like 140 grams unstrung.
Have you tried this racket? If so please leave a review in the comments below! Thanks

Hi,
I am transitioning from a beginner to the intermediate phase.. I have been using two rackets .. (totally different though) the Dunlop OBH120 (140gms) and the head cyano XT 110 gms.. Now it took me a while to understand that the Dunlop even though heavier had a head light balance point and therefore was easier to manoeuvre and since (…I’ve switched over from badminton to squash) it just kind of felt nicer and more natural. The head cyano XT (claims to be 110gms unstrung) on the other hand gave me immense power but a little difficult to control.. it’s like the shots are not exactly hitting the wall where I want them to….Recently I broke my Dunlop racket and I’m looking for a replacement. I would really appreciate your advice before I purchase a replacement.. I would prefer a head light balance frame..
Regards

Does OBH = Ong Beng Hee? Is this the racket you are looking to replace?

Dunlop has a newer version of this, the Evolution Pro, and you can still probably find the prior models like the Force Evolution 120.
If you’re looking for something new, the Carboflex 125 S is a popular head-light choice these days. Actually Beng Hee used to play with the original Carboflex 125.
