Whoa, looks like Ramy Ashour was playing with this Dunlop Blackmax Titanium at the 2012 HK Open. It’s an older racket that’s no longer available for sale.

Ramy is marketed by Dunlop as playing with the Dunlop Biomimetic Max, but maybe he is playing with the Dunlop Blackmax Titanium and having it painted to look like the Biomimetic Max. This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve wondered what racket Ramy is actually playing with.

Full credit to Ron Koenig, who’s a pro at my club. He told me 1 week ago that Ramy was playing with the Blackmax Titanium. Nice call, Ron.

    Hi, wondering if you have a view on what racket today most closely resembles the Black Max Titanium from a feel/power perspective. I still have an old racket left which I love the feel of, but need to get a new one. So ideally would get something that feels as similar as it. Thanks!

    Hi! I started looking for the Blackmax Titanium in the Netherlands and found one for 65 euro. A real bargin compared to the Biomimetic Max, isn’t it? 🙂
