Hi Pierre
I have been in contact with pdh sports with regards to buying myself the new Dunlop Hyperfibre xT revelation pro lite and asked them to weigh the racket for its all in weight to match you 151.5grams review weight. They came back to me after weighing 10 plus rackets and they all came in at around 160 to 165 grams ?
So my question is why the huge difference to your scales
Your very confused

Dang that’s a pretty big difference! I just ordered a couple so we shall see how they compare. Maybe this one has tiger blood.

probably still had packaging on it

Yeah probably. I could see the plastic wrap over the grip, the face card, and the little Dunlop shock absorber all adding up to 10 grams. I’ll measure one with all that included when I get the new rackets in.

I had quite a variance from a number of Evolution Pro rackets I bought. They ranged from 153g to 163g, with noticeable difference in balance. I was actually just thinking today doing a solo practice how different one of my rackets felt to another.
If you want consistency with the rackets, you might like to visit a shop in person, or order more than you need and send back the outliers.

A good reason to shop with the local pro!

When they make a racket, there is a certain margin they have which is +- 5 grams and also a bit with the balance. So it is possible that when you buy two of the same rackets, that the difference between them is 10 grams. If you want exactly the same rackets you can match your rackets at http://www.qss-squash.com. They do a great job with tuning your rackets to equal specs, so that there is no difference between the rackets anymore. They do this a lot in tennis, but squash not that much yet.

Could you comment on whether you prefer this over the Prince Vortex Pro 650 and why? Am debating between the two! Nowhere near for me to have a feel for either.

I am using the Pro Lite for the 2019 season so it’s my top pick at the moment. Prince rackets are kind of a special unicorn, you either love them or you don’t. The looped stringing pattern is pretty unique. I’m just not used to them.
