The Dunlop Tempo Pro TD is a low-cost squash racket from Dunlop first introduced in 2021. Basically they’ve added a teardrop shape to the mid-price Tempo range. I guess the TD stands for teardrop.
That weight of 165 grams is an eye-opener. This looks like the much-imitated “standard teardrop” mold that everyone else has in their lineup at this point but everyone else has this weighing 125-135 grams or so.
Dunlop probably don’t want to take sales away from their top of the line models and just let this baby be on the heavy side. I wonder how accurate that 165 gram number is.
There are two models:
- Dunlop Tempro Pro 5.0 TD
- Dunlop Tempro Pro TD
Or at least, I think there are two models. As you’ll see below, the photos look the same, so it could be listed incorrectly. I don’t think there were any models named 4.0 / 3.0 / 2.0. They just skipped to the 5.0.
