I don't have wide feet, but wear a lot of Keen type shoes that have lots of room around the toes. These are tight! I did keep them though and after getting used to them, love them. They're very supportive at the ball of the foot, the arch and the heel.
3-9-2016 Update on my original review. After a breaking in period the shoes were actually very good. I wore them 3-5 times a week for Jazzercise classes which are hard on the feet. I am ordering another pair since trying lower priced one a few weeks and not being comfortable. Very Stable Shoe. Original CommentI purchased the Asics Gel Cyber Sensei from a recommendation from Asics website fit analysis. I have orthodics, with ankle and foot pain. I dance Jazzercise 4 - 5 times a week (hour long class). This shoe was recommended. I had a pair of Asics volleyball shoes before and they were good, not quite as sturdy a I hoped these would be. I have been wearing them for about 2 weeks for class. My left foot is my larger foot, but in this shoe my left heel is loose and feels like it is slipping around. I wrote to Asics about the shoes and they recommended I try a special lacing technique as shown on You Tube. I already use that technique. If I get the heel tight enough, my circulation is cut off to my toes??? I don't think the shoe is made right and for $130 I expected more. I will keep wearing the shoes since they do support my feet and the right foot is perfect. Someone suggested a heel insert which I have never needed in other shoes. It is just annoying thinking about my heel being loose. I'm glad I'm not a playing volleyball on a team. I'd hate to think I messed up worrying about my foot slipping when I was trying to get the ball. Dissatisfied!
Already used it twice since I got it. Fantastic cushioning and shock absorption when I jump. A little bit heavy compared to my mizuno tornado 8 but it's ok, it's easy to move around with it and it's actually quite sturdy. So far, I'm happy with the product.
