This is a long-overdue post for the Kanso EQX3. Kanso sent me a pair to review and I included it in my video of Best Squash Shoes from January 2025, which you can watch here (they appear at 3:49):
Basically the Kanso EQx3 is a comfortable, quality, nicely padded shoe with great cosmetics.

There are currently some sizes still available here on the Kanso website.
Kanso as a brand creates high-performance indoor court shoes. It was founded by some of the guys formerly from Salming, including the founder Thomas Solin and former world top-10 squash player Adrian Grant.
They have this Japanese-inspired design sensibility that I think it pretty cool. Their two main shoe models are the Equilibrium (aka the EQx3, the one I’m posting here), which is designed for a combination of balance, stability, and cushioning, and the DragonFly, which is the “faster” shoe oriented more towards speed and agility. Predictably, the DragonFly is what most Kanso-sponsored pros are wearing, including an impressive roster of top-ranked players:
- Paul Coll (world #2)
- Amina Orfi (world #3)
- Youssef Soliman (world #10)
- Declan James
- Curtis Malik
- Torrie Malik
I’ll post the DragonFly soon. For now, just adding the Equilibrium to the site.

I think both Solliman and Orfi have reverted back to asics
