This puppy is only 105 grams. Sounds like it would be too light, right? But I had a hit with it the other day when a fellow named Edward, who was visiting my local club, let me have a quick hit with his. And the thing is it doesn’t feel too light at all. I remember the racket as having an even balance, and it was like all the weight was in the head and the grip, leaving nothing in the middle. Anyway, it was nice to hit with.
And the racket looks cool:
Note: This racket has been succeeded by the Oliver Pure 3.
Have you tried this racket? Please leave a review in the comments!

Hi Eugene,
thanks a lot for your message and great to hear you represent Oliver in Western Canada.
More and more players at the club pick up their first Pure 4 and so far all seem to like it very much.
Actually at least one of them already uses it in the ongoing European Masters Individual Championships 2017 in Wrocław.
Maybe you should get in touch with Pierre regarding a review, I think his opinion is highly valued among those squash players organized over the internet and it could help increase the recognition of the Oliver brand in America.

Thanks Jan, I will see what I can do about a review. Meanwhile I’ve posted the Oliver Pure 4 here.

People at one of the clubs I play at deify this racket.
One of the lightest rackets around (approximately 140 g all in), head light, powerful, still little to no vibration, good touch and durable.
Practically everyone has at least one of it in his pocket, most of them three or more.
Actually they bought every single one they could get their hands on after it went out of production.
Pure 3 never gained the same popularity, but Pure 4 is supposed to be very similiar to Pure 2 again and the first copies start to appear on the courts.

Pierre, do you know if there is a distributor for Oliver rackets in America and will you be able to review it for us?

Hi Jan,
I am the Western Canadian Distributor for Oliver (Oliver Canada covers the USA). We are awaiting the the first shipment of the Pure 4, and you are correct it is supposed to be very similar to the Pure 4.
