Prince O3 Speedport Black

Ah, the Prince O3 Speedport Black. According to Prince, wind tunnel testing proves O3 Speedport racquets move through the air up to 24% faster than traditional racquets. I, for one, would really like to see a squash racket be tested in a wind tunnel. But for now, I’ll just have to imagine it. WHOOOOOOOSH.

Note: It looks like a new version of this racket will be coming out in the next few months. It’s called the Prince Pro Black Speedport 850.

This racket is 135 grams (medium) with a 37.5cm balance point (head-heavy).

There’s also a Prince O3 Speedport Black “Special Edition”. From what I can tell it has the same specs, just a different paint job with some silver on the shaft. Thanks to Marlin for the tip.

Hi, I’ve been playing with this racquet for some time now…never had any issues and loved playing with it..but wanted to get a new one finally. Prefer head-heavy and Prince. What would be a good similar replacement? Thanks, T

Perhaps worth noting that there’s a special edition of this racket? Same specs, different cosmetics.

Hi Marlin, I believe the one I posted is the special edition. I’m not 100% sure though. I couldn’t find the “non-special” edition. I wonder if the O3 Black is the non-special edition. Not sure.
