This racket’s a bit of a mystery, like much about Prince these days. In the 2017/2018 Prince range, there’s already a racket called the Prince Pro Warrior 650. There’s also another frame called the Prince Pro Warrior 600. So I’m not sure what makes the “Pro Warrior X” different, unless Prince is producing slightly different versions for different regions.
Jazz comments:
Feedback is poor because 12 or the 15 rackets sold by a dealer I know broke in less than a month of purchase. A very brittle racket.
AZ comments:
I’ve now here the Warrior and the 550 lite, both the Textreme version. Balance of the warrior is a little more headlight than the 550 Pro Airstick lite; 35,3 cm/36 cm. Weight: Warrior 158 g strung/Airstick 156 g strung, both stock grip plus an overgrip = same weight.
Note: I also played the Airstick lte 550 2014 without the Textreme material. The newer one with Textreme is stiffer than the older one.

The guy I usually buy my gear from as explained to me that the X was added when Prince moved production of the Pro Warrior to a new factory due to the breakage issues that the first version had. It seems that the X was added to clarify the distinction between one and the other. There is a earlier comment mentioning this fact as well here: https://www.squashsource.com/prince-pro-warrior-650/#comment-126461
I have been using a Pro Warrior X for the last month – playing 3 times a week – and so far, so good. I will update if that changes. The racket is outstanding by the way: great power and control. A true all-rounder…

Hi,
I have the 2018 Pro Warrior 650. It’s 125g frame weight, with 36.00cm balance.
I’d brought the signature Ramy racket when it came out but like many other I broke 3 in the span of around 2 months. Have not played with new Pro Warrior 650 enough yet to know if they have improved durability.

Hi Dean,
Any good news with the durability for the Pro Warrior 650. Just need some suggestions if i should choose between Pro Warrior 650 / Vortex Pro ?
Thx
Danny

Hi Danny,
Unfortunately I don’t any good news to report back. I broker two in as many weeks. I’ve since moved to the Karim Harrow Vines, which have been exceptional in every way – feel great and the two I brought have last over two years while playing 3 – 4 days a week

Beware that despite the apparent similar specs, they are completely different rackets. The Vortex is massively head-heavy.
Others have reported the same: check out the squashsource page for the vortex and the other Prince’s new models and you’ll see what I mean.
