These replace the Asics Gel Domain 3 and seem to have been given a substantial redesign.
The soles of the Asics Gel Domain 4 are blue (not traditional gum rubber) but they are non-marking and therefore appropriate for squash courts.

I’ve been using the gel domain shoes since v1, and I’ve always liked that they are low and have great lateral stability to play squash.
I could not be any more disappointed in the Gel Domain 4. These a are a big departure from their predecessors, being much taller on the heel and narrower. They’re plushier, sure, but the lateral stability is completely gone.
Sadly, I’ll have to start looking for a different model for my squash matches.

I have to agree with the lateral stability, have been using shoes since november, tread has worn off on heels, also find that they are stiff shoes, even after playing with them for months . Lots of padding for back of heel, and cushioning in heel. Got me a pair of blast 7’s which will be replacing these shoes.

maybe the most excellent shoes I have. When it is in a badminton courts I think it may be better than some professional shoes like YONEX.

Rosner started wearing these (Vermilion/Black/Safety Yellow) during the Dubai tournament after his old Domain 3 exploded!
