Argento 990; Great racket. Feels lighter than displayed weight and not head heavy. Very easy to manoeuvre and volley. Not that powerful but being light means it doesn’t tire me as quickly as other rackets.
I’ve also got a Technifibre carboflex 130 s, also a very good racket but it feels positively head heavy after the 990.
The 990 is my favourite racket ever and I’ve had plenty, including top Prince, and Dunlop rackets.

I took my time to write about this racket but I think I got good feedback now.
I got 2 sr990. I directly changed strings because I felt like playing with fishnets. So, I restrung one with ultranick 19 and the other one with Harrow Barrage pro.
What a racket! But my feeling is totally different to what people say on this blog
First, it is very light to me. 110g frame, it is very responsive and pleasant to play with. It reminds me the carboflex 125s in terms of sensation. It is less dynamic but more playful.
Second, I don’t get the head heavy feeling everyone talks about. I compared it with several rackets (carboflex 125s, suprem 125sb, Harrow Spark, Harrow Vapor, Dunlop Gts 135) and it feels head light compared to those!
I am not a powerful player but my drops never been so accurate and my volleys are real quick. I feel like playing ping pong.
Power is OK, it’s not made for that. It doesn’t have a catapult effect like the vapor ultralite. But a nice sweet spot to help you control your shots.
In terms of durability, I take care of my material (i.e. I don’t throw my racket) but I’m kind of clumsy, dive and not scared to hit walls for a boast or when the ball is really close to a wall. I play 3/4 times a week and about 2h/session. I only got a few scratches and the painting turned from black to white but still don’t see the carbon. So I suppose all good.
For 50€, that’s a steal. I will buy more before they are sold out because that’s truly a top racket for a beginner price.

I meant to say in my review that it is light. The head heavy feeling is more about the balance point – I’ve just compared it with my classic Carboflex 125 and the balance point is about 1 inch more into the head. Once on court though it’s not really apparent although I do tend to hold rackets about half way on the grip.
I’ve only played 3 games up to 15 points with it so far and found I was getting more depth if not power as long as I was finding the sweet spot of course. I’ve lost some swing in my shoulder as I’ve got older. The factory strings do make the ball ping off rapidly. I’ll wait to restring it when one of us breaks them and will probably string it at slightly less tension.

I was in one of London’s Decathlon stores this week and bought the last 990 there. Took it to our squash club last night and number of us tried it including me and must say it is very good. The solid head heavy build gives a lot of effortless power which is good for me as I’ve been struggling as I get older to generate power on the balanced control rackets I’ve been using.
As you say in your review the balance does take a bit of adjustment, especially drops, but I found it pretty easy to play with and so did the others, so it’s a keeper and a bargain at £50 UK.
Will post this also on your YouTube review.

My god you took forever to get to the point.
So, it’s heavy, head heavy, and inflexible. You think it favours people who choke up the racquet, and you attribute that to why you feel you player well with it.
Why can’t you just say that and shorten the video to 15 seconds?
