Ashaway SuperNick XL Micro

Striiings. The Ashaway SuperNick XL Micro.

Thin gauge of 18 (1.15mm), meaning more power, but less durability than the Ashaway SuperNick XL.

Single

Different packaging but same string I think:

    Hi there Ben,
I’ve been using this string since I bought a roll of it last April and I’ve only broken one set after two months of constant use (playing four to six matches per week), so I don’t think durability is much of an issue. I find the braided surface makes it easier to ‘cut’ the ball and adds control. Compared to cheaper strings I used in the past this one seems to hold the tension much more accurately. I highly recommend this string.

Might finally get to use an Ashaway string after Christmas, might get two Black Knight Magnum Corona 6 Squash Racket to add to my collection as they come pre strung in Ashaway Supernick XL Micro. Anyway it is a braided surface which provides excellent control, it is a thinner version of the Ashaway SuperNick XL, which Peter Nicol uses in his Prince 03 tour. This means it has better play ability but less durability.
