These shoes are called Asics Gel Beyond.
Update: these were all replaced by the Asics Gel Beyond 4
Men
Here’s one version. These might actually be the “Asics Gel Beyond 2” but I’m not sure:
Here’s the same design but in blue:

Abdullah Al Tamimi was wearing these at the 2013 Qatar Classic:

These are also called Asics Gel Beyond but they look a bit different in the construction. I think these might be the Asics Gel Beyond 3:

Marwan El Shorbagy uses these:

Here’s another color scheme with a touch of green:
This one’s called Lightning, Red and Black:
Women
This yellow fellow I suppose would be the women’s Asics Gel Beyond 2:
This one’s white with purple accents andt came out in 2013 / 2014. Some stores had this listed as the Asics Gel Beyond 3 Women.
Here’s another version:

That purple-ish version has been worn by both Laura Massaro and Joelle King. Here’s Joelle:

I recently bought a pair of Gel-Beyond over Rocket 10. After couple of games I will write a comment.

Hi There
I’m a big fan of this version of the Gel-Beyond. However I would like to pint out that the White/Red one and the Blue one are completely different to the ones with the touch of green and touch of blue in that the soles and especially the heel are far thicker thicker in the blue one and white/red one
Anyway which leads me to a question – As this version of Beyond can no longer be got can you recommend an Asics shoe with a fairly thick heel cushion and sole like the blue and red/white one???
Many thanks

Thanks for the clarification Eamon. The only recent Asics I’ve tried are the Upcourts and Rockets, which are probably on the low end of padding. Will see if anyone else has feedback for you.

Haha – I’ve never heard of “Shemales” before but I think I’ll pass on clicking that link.
