Head squash balls come in 3 varieties:
Head Prime (double yellow dot)
Head Tournament (single yellow dot)
Head Start (white dot)
I tested out their double yellow dot and put together some thoughts here:
Head Prime Squash Balls
Spotted these in 2016. These are Head’s version of double yellow dot squash balls. So these are for the most advanced players.

These are Head’s single yellow dot squash balls. They’re a little bouncier than the double dots.

And finally, Head Start squash balls. Get it? They’re more for beginners. According to the description:
The Head Start squash balls are suitable for recreational players who want to have a fun time with friends on the weekend courts. The balls offer a higher bounce height that makes them easy to handle and guarantees more dynamic and longer rallies. These quality white dot balls provide good playability and durability and come in a set of 1 dozen.
I can’t think of any other brands that use a white dot — Dunlop squash balls (and other brands) seem to use blue and/or red.

Been using these and the Wilson double yellows as we have found we were getting an awful lot of poor quality Dunlop ones. Have found them all consistently good. Possibly a bit bouncier than Dunlop’s but difficult to say for sure. I think they do get warmer faster and stay warmer and in my opinion you get a better game as a result as it’s bouncier.

But you can still use them if you plan to play on a outdoor court in winter 😉
