Hey guys,
I’ve been using the T120FF for the last two weeks, and it’s actually quite heavy. Karakal state a 120 gram dry frame weight, but on my scales – with an over grip – it tipped out at 162 grams, which for a head-heavy racket is up there.
Our club stocks Karakal, and yesterday we received our first S Pro Elite – and I have to say, this is one of the nicest frames I’ve ever played with. I’ve used technifibre for years, and this is at least as good as my Carboflex 120 S. The only let down are the strings… But restrung with some 305’s this frame will be an absolute weapon.
You should try check it out Pierre.

I have the 120 and 130 ff and there is 4 grams difference between the two with the 120 slightly head heavier. 158 for the 120 and 162 for the 130. Really enjoying them.

Any idea how much does the racket weigh strung etc. ?
Thanks.

Hi Pierre,
Any chance you could include strung weights with your racket reviews/writeups. That and the balance point of the strung racket would be super useful.
Thanks

Hi Nick, that’s a good idea, I will try to get in the habit

Does anyone know what grip Cameron uses?
Pierre Bastien says

Probably Karakal PU SuperGrip
Ibero says

Cameron uses the Karakal PU Grip (on White Colour )

Anyone know what string he uses and what tension?
Tjeerd says

I believe that Cameron plays with Karakal Evolution 115 strings @ about 11 kg. He once wrote this on his blog, but I can’t find it anymore…

It says he used them for the world record attempt for fastest shot here… https://www.racketline.co.uk/squash-c7/squash-strings-c71/karakal-evolution-115-squash-strings-10m-set-p1598
