I haven’t covered Mantis rackets before but I was inspired to do so by this picture of Stephen Coppinger roaring:

This photo is from the 2013 Tournament of Champions in New York City. I managed to catch a few minutes of it in person last Sunday, and got to see Coppinger upset Adrian Grant and make it to the quarterfinals, a good result for him.

Emma Beddoes also plays with the Mantis 110:

Mantis Power 110 Reviews

Well I was lucky enough to have a hit with this baby last week…

…and I really liked it. Nice balance and good zip on the ball. I borrowed this from Dean, a pro at my club. He had it strung with the green Tecnifibre 1.1 strings. Those strings are so nice.

Have you tried this racket? If so, please let us know in the comments how you liked it.

    Hi All,
We just started carrying Mantis squash and they are amazing racquets. Personally I love the Mantis Pro 115, unbelievable feel on the ball, especially when restrung with Tecnifibre 305 string. The website is http://www.SquashUnlimited.com
    Thanks.

Two things: (1) Where is the review dude? (2) The court in your photo seems to be haunted – notice the faces of at least 3 kids and an adult at the top. Brrrrrr!! Spooky!

Ha I haven’t gotten to play with this one yet so I am left staring at pictures! That is funny about the ghost kids.
