This is the 2014 version of the Prince EXO3 Pro Tour.
James Willstrop appears in the ads for this racket, but he isn’t playing with it at the moment; he’s using the Prince Pro Beast 750.
Here’s what James would look like using this racket, if he played in a suit:

Prince Pro Tour 850 Reviews
Here’s a review from Paul Hargrave at PDH Sports explaining a bit more about this racket and how it compares to other rackets in the Prince range:
And here’s my own personal take on the Pro Tour:
If you’ve had a chance to play with this racket, please leave a comment!

Many thanks. Thinking of finally moving on from the original 03 Tour (I know, I know!), but don’t want to splash the cash on the very latest range. I did try the “Ramy” a couple of years ago but didn’t like it much. Any further comments would be appreciated – regarding the comparison between the 03 Tour and the Pro Tour 850 rather than how far behind the times I am, please!

I’ve been using Pro Tour 850 for six months. My tips:
– it is a 145g head-heavy rocket, so it is harder to add a final touch from your wrist, but the rocket somehow helps you to play more technically than just using arm’s power
– i suggest lighter tension when stringing – it gives this rocket an extra punch (love it)
– it is not a durable rocket
– once precisely hit, the ball gets a lot of power, a lot

Thanks Mac. It seems I’ve been using them longer than you, then, as I just went ahead and bought one. Liked it so much I bought another before Amazon Japan sold out! The weight is the same as the original Peter Nicol 03, but the racquet has a better balance for me. The original strings fe,t horrible after years of using Technifibre 305 1.1mm, but I changed them almost immediately and as I said above, love it 🙂
