Where is Coppinger? If you’re you recall, he tore up his shoe in the massive game vs Mueller. Unless these are only by glass court. By the way, I think he changed his racquet and shoes from Manta and HiTec? to Tecnifibre and Asics (seen at Worlds).

Oh no I forgot Copps! I’ve added him now 🙂
I did not see that shoe blowout on Squash TV – wow!
Good catch, he did switch from Mantis to the Tecnifibre. His shoes are a mystery…here’s a good view from El Gouna

It stands to reason that if those mystery shoes got torn up at US Open, he’d ditch them. That Carboflex 125 seems to be a popular selection among some top players, including the Palmer trio of Rodriguez, Max Lee and Copps. I think that it’s also interesting that it appears that Copps and Miguel transitioned from the Carboflex 130.
Tecnifibre should be playing this up and selling a ton of these 125s.

His shoes look like Maxed, it is a Mr. Price Sports brand

Great spot Barry! http://www.mrpsport.com/en_za/jump/SPORTS/Squash-Shoe/productDetail/7_7460510173/cat1240054/general
I will post those soon. Thanks

he use a Maxed racket now too.

After enlarging the pics in link you’ve provided, his shoes are clearly made by maxed. Although, I was gonna say its a brand called “Softouch”.

Pierre
Have you considered compiling some data showing the representation of equipment by brand?
Scott J. says
()
I completely agree Pierre.
What about taking the players from your report — and doing a break-down of how many use what.
For instance, I would be curious to know if more people wear Asics or Adidas shoes (looks pretty even). And I’d guess Prince are the most used rackets or is it now Technifibres or Dunlops???
Pierre Bastien says
()
Good idea, I’ll see what I can come up with!
Barry Green says

Hi Pierre
I analysed your report and produced a summary for both Rackets and Shoes (Men’s and Women’s) showing the most popular. The results can be seen here: http://www.squashleagues.org/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1421
Great Reports, by the way!

Barry

Leo Au wore the Mizuno Wave Stealth 2. I just got myself a pair a month ago so I got quite excited when I saw him wear them on YouTube this US Open.
Pierre Bastien says
()
Thanks Fred, I’ve updated!
Zsolt says

Omar Mosaad is wearing Adidas Court Stabil 10.1 , not adipower 😛 You can differentiate the 2 with the sole. The adipower has circular shock absorbers on the sole with MGS in the middle, while the Court has only a pivot zone on the sole

Thanks Zsolt, good catch!
