Here’s my video review. In short it’s a nice forgiving racket with a large sweet spot.
Xamsa Onyx Incognito
In 2019, Xamsa came out with the Xamsa Onyx Incognito, which is the same mold as the Onyx, but a different material. It’s a few dollars more expensive, and comes unstrung. You can pay a little extra for Xamsa’s stringing service while ordering the racket.

Thanks for your video. I am very interested to get one. Can you please elaborate on the playability of this racquet? How is the power and control of it? A relatively even-balanced racquet given the 36 cm balance point? Anything else stands out other than the big sweet spot? Appreciate your insights.

It does have good power, and yes it feels evenly-balanced. I would say moderately good control. I think it’s a trade-off where having a big juicy sweet spot makes it a little harder to get the ball to sit down when you’re taking it in short. It was still pretty decent in the control area though. Watching myself on the gameplay I thought I was taking it in pretty well.

Hi Pierre,
Are you able to comment how the Onyx compares to the Incognito, if you can remember how that one played?
Thanks

In a nutshell I think the Incognito has better precision, Onyx has better power and forgiveness. The Onyx is much bouncier off the strings. Here’s a photo of the Onyx laid on top of a Xamsa PXT 110 (which is the same mold as the Incognito). The Onyx throat extends much further down and gets wider at the bottom too. I think this is what gives the Onyx that bigger sweet spot. Also helping the bounce factor is the fan stringing pattern of the Onyx.

I agree with Pierre’s comments; lots of power and good (not great) control. I changed the strings to 305 green lately and feel like I have better control without a drop-off in power. I would add that it is a stiff feeling racquet and I don’t notice vibration.
