Is the Blast FF2 lighter than the original?

On my scale in a size 14 the FF2 is 26g heavier than the original. I’ve gotten both in the last month and they’ve both seen about the same amount of playing time. Even with a slight increase in weight I prefer the FF2 for it’s comfort and breathability.

Have you tried the Gel Tactic? If so, how do they compare to these Blast FF 2?

I had a pair of the 2019 Gel Tactic and I think the FF2 are just better. More stability and comfort. Durability wise I expect the FF2 to hold up a lot better. Hard to tell but grip seemed to be better with the FF2.

Hi Pierre, in the picture, Eain Yow Ng is not wearing the Blast FF 2 but the Gel Fastball 3 in peacoat/safety yellow from 2020.
