The Asics Gel Upcourt are the least-expensive shoe in the Asics court shoes lineup. Because of their price point and their reasonably good-looking designs, they are fairly popular among club players. They are not very well cushioned or durable, but they are a good deal and definitely playable. If you aren’t fussy and just want an inexpensive pair of shoes, give these a try.

I first saw these shoes on the feet of my regular playing partner Jeremy. He liked them so much he got them in another color. They are good-looking and he said they were comfortable right out of the box. Another guy I play with, Peter, plays with these. I think he said they were a little bit small, but “the price is right”. I was later able to review these myself and you can check out my video review below.

I had the blue ones that your friend Jeremy was wearing and they were one of the most comfortable pairs of squash shoes I’ve had. Super light, but very springy, they were also very durable. My foot drag, which can destroy other shoes in weeks, had no effect whatsoever. In the end I had to chuck them away because they lost grip on the soles (even though you couldn’t see any actual wear and tear on the rubber soles). Thoroughly recommended!

Hi you forgot to mention that these shoes are built with Gel cushion both in the heel and forefoot, this makes landing and take off very comfortable. All shoes do not have Gel in both zones.This cushions foot impact and is good for the knees.
Also these shoes are one of the lightest available and this helps quick movement on the court.
I am using these for about a year, 5 to 8 hours a week and the shoes are in no way disintegrating or giving up ! I weigh 95 kilos.
