Here are the updated Head Radical squash rackets for the 2022-2023 season. These are Head’s traditional-shaped squash rackets. They also have a line of teardrop squash rackets called Head Speed.
Head Radical 120 SB
The Head Radical 120 SB replaces the Head Graphene 360+ Radical 120 SB. Mercifully, Head has shortened the name of this line of rackets to just “Head Radical 120 SB”, which is a lot easier to remember. The SB stands for Slimbody — these SB rackets have a thinner frame than Head’s other models.

I bought Head Radical 120SB recently, due to a sale on HEAD’s official site, it was only €100.
I’m impressed by how light it is, even compared with similar 125’s, due to even balance and Slim Body, it feels amazingly light.
Control is almost perfect, and you can easily hit all those corners and drop shots. It is also perfect for fast volleying and changing directions due to its lightness and balance.
I was missing power with long forehand drives.
Then I changed strings with Powernick 18 and reduced tension to 11kg. After that changes, it is powerful enough even for long drive shots.
I’m so sad that HEAD removed this racket from their site and doesn’t offer it anymore.

I bought one of the Head Radical 120 SB recently (shout-out to Mo at Atrsports.com in Toronto) and after a first hit with it tonight I am thoroughly impressed by it. Initial impressions are that this is a very powerful racket. Coming from a Dunlop Evolution 130 I wasn’t expecting to find this Head racket to have more power given the shorter main string length. But this racket has so much pop, it was genuinely surprising. The feel is also nice and the slim frame is something I really like for picking those tight balls of the side walls. Looking forward to playing with this more and swapping out the strings for my preferred Ashaway Supernick ZX string
