Karakal F-125 FF

The Karakal F-125 FF. This sure has a lot of F’s in its name. Maybe one of those stands for FAN, as in fan stringing pattern, which Karakal introduced only recently. The other F’s might either stand for Fast Fibre, or perhaps Finicky Frenchman.

Or it stands for Fan-Freaking-tastic…a nicely balanced racquet with a lot of power for its weight. A lot less head-heavy than the T-120 FF. Ordered a few of these and am excited!

How is it in the court? How does it play like? I’m desperate to replace my good old Prince Airstick and specwise this seems similar but can’t really find any honest opinions on it! Thanks in advance

They’re sadly discontinued for this season. Replaced by the Core range.

Thanks. It seems that they can still be found online – squashpoint.com for instance – what’s your opinion on them? Have you tried the new models as well? Thanks in advance

Fairly nice feeling, good power and control. Had good experience with one strung with Supernick ZX at 27lbs. The new Core range feel more like the old Princes as the string pattern is more similar.
