Here’s a rundown of Tecnifibre squash strings. This is considered one of the premium brands of squash string.
Tecnifibre 305
The famous green string from Tecnifibre, which you see many pros playing with. I believe this is supposed to be a multifilament string that gives you the most cut on the ball of all the Tecnifibre squash strings.
It comes in three different gauges — 1.1mm (18 gauge, the thinnest); 1.2mm (17 gauge, the middle guy); and 1.3mm (16 gauge, the thickest).
Tecnifibre X-ONE Biphase
This has come in two colors. The new version is orange, and the older version was red. I understand it balances cut and power but also incorporates some materials that are good at retaining tension well over time. It comes only in 1.18mm (18 gauge) thickness.
Tecnifibre Dynamix VP
Tecnifibre came out with this in 2020. I think it’s a replacement for the DNAMX below.
Tecnifibre DNAMX
Tecnifibre is coming out with this black string in 2016. It’s the factory string in the new Tecnifibre Dynergy AP line of rackets, and apparently Mohamed El Shorbagy uses this string.
Tecnifibre 305+
This is Tecnifibre’s older black string, which is being replaced by the DNAMX string.

DNAMX vs 305+
I’m currently using 305+ on my HEAD graphene cyano 115. I’m thinking of changing to DNAMX when it breaks. Any differences between the two?

Pierre, It seems the name of the new string is Tecnifibre DNAMX, no i in the name. If so it seems it is already available for sale online. Question is does my local stringer have it already?

Thanks, I removed the I 🙂
It depends on what region you’re in but your local stringer can probably get this string now. I’d check with them.

Tecnifibre X-one is perhaps the closest to natural gut, soft on the wrist, with a lot feel control and power. Plays best around 25 lbs. Notching will appear on the crosses (where the string cross over each other )from where you hit the ball most. But it won’t break easy or effect the power. Made from a 1000 strands of filament. If you use it once and like the power and feel, you will not wish to switch to another string.
Another important Pont is that this string is light in weight and if you wish to get some weight of the racket head this string is ideal. Try it. You’ll love it.
