Product Notes

The Ultra Lite has exactly the same cosmetics as the Wilson Ultra Countervail, which is confusing. Even more weird, it’s 2 grams heaver but costs $80 less than the Countervail. What gives? Well, Wilson has this to say about the Countervail:

Dripping with explosive power, the Ultra CV features Countervail integrated into the frame to absorb racket vibrations and keep your arm fresh – allowing you to play longer and harder than ever before.

I do appreciate arm-freshness, but I’m not sure if it’s worth $80. I guess we’ll have to see how they play!

153 grams on my scale (with factory grip and strings). Feels even – head light. Bit more head heavy than my old Dunlop Force Evolution 120 (RIP), bit less head heavy than Carboflex 125 Airshaft. I like it a lot 🙂
