Adidas Essence are a range of handball shoes from Adidas.
These are designed as handball shoes but have been popular with squash players over the years.
The Essence are usually the low-end model in Adidas’s handball lineup. The next step up above this would be the Adidas Court Stabil or maybe the Adidas Stabil Bounce.
The Adidas Essence first came out in 2017, and new models have come out in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. They replace the Adidas Multido Essence in the long-running line of Essence shoes. Even though these shoes have been around for a while, Adidas didn’t start calling them plain-old “Essence” until 2017. Prior to that there had always been a version number attached to each shoe.
