Here are some squash equipment notes from the 2019 CIB Women’s World Championships / Men’s Egyptian Squash Open. Photos are via cibworlds.squashsite.net.

First up we have a number of players that have never been featured on Squash Source before.

Marina Stefanoni is an up-and-coming American star. Looks like she uses the Tecnifibre Carboflex 125 S and Salming Kobras.

England’s Jasmine Hutton plays with the Victor IP 10 racket and Asics Fastball 3s:

Switzerland’s Cindy Merlo is another Squash Source first-timer. She uses the Head Radical Slimbody 120:

Victor Crouin is a French player who’s also an undergrad at Harvard. He uses my favorite Dunlop Pro Lite and Salming Kobras.

Siva Subramaniam is a Malysian who’s also an undergrad at Cornell. She had a couple of upsets in the tournament. She’s got the older Nour El Tayeb racket, the Dunlop Hyperfibre Revelation 125.

Leo Au has a new racket. Looks like a new cosmetic for the Harrow Response. I think those are probably Mizuno shoes.

Looks like Fares Dessouky is using the X-Speed 125 instead of his APX 125 (thanks B). He’s also switched to the Adidas Essence (thanks Rui).

Paul Coll has the new Eye cosmetics on his Eye V.Lite 115.

Looks like he has gone to the Stabil Bounce. Might need to pick up a pair if these are good enough for The Marksman!

Good catch, have added to the Qatar report. The Stabil Bounce were good shoes, although they wore out a bit quickly

I think Leo Au is wearing the new Salming Hawk shoes, as is his opponent

Agree with you on the opponent and I was tempted to say the same for Leo because the color is so close, but I swear that is the Mizuno logo on Leo’s shoes. And I know he’s worn Mizuno for years. Could be these:

Yep, think you are right. Looked at some closer up pics and definitely not Salming and definitely Mizuno!!
