I also spotted this orange-colored version of SuperNick ZX Micro at DL Sports, even though orange was (previously) the exclusive domain of regular SuperNick ZX. I wonder if they changed the string color??

A downgrade of technifibre 305 green, stiff when strung at 26lbs recommend lower poundage for better feel. Really too stiff disappointed.

305 green it’s not stiff at all. It is an amazing string, especially the 1,1mm. The con is that it breaks pretty easy. I use SuperNick XL Micro, because at least in my country it is super cheap and it gives great control and power at soft tensions..

But I agree with you, I spent lot of money for the orange ZX recently, string tension 23,5 lbs and it feels terrible. stiff, no power, vibrations.

For the SuperNick XL Micro I use 21 lbs and it is great

Love it so much. Strung at 25lbs on my Dunlop Force Revelation 125. Previously used 1.25 version. This one more power and control.
    Cons: it moved a lot.

ZX micro feels better than the original ZX, great feel, very responsive. The downside is that they have very poor durability… I strung my racket with ZX micro at 11kg and they snapped straight at the sweetspot in 5 days. Great string, poor durability. I won’t be using these anymore though, it gets too expensive to string.

I have been using it for 4 months with out any breakage, strung at 24 playing 3 to 4 days Week. No issues.

Would suggest you give one more try.

    My 2 cents :
I have 2 harrow vibe, one with tecnifibre green 1.2, and the other one with ZX micro. Both strung at 10/11 KG.
As you can expect the Zx have more control and touch and the tecnifibre more power. But i do prefer the tecnifibre, because i feel that they a more balanced power/feel/control ratio.

Same question here. Have been using the regular orange ZX on my Dunlop PE120 and really like it. Just ordered one of these and I am considering stringing it at 25.5 based on the fact that the Micro ZX should be a bit harder than the ZX. Any thoughts?

I have been using ZX Micro since a year. 25 lbs is perfect for control and power. You will love this string.

I changed the strings of my new Tecnifibre carboles 125s with the new Ashaway Zx Micro, it feels so great, better than the tecni strings, more control, better handling on my drops and I hit hard. Very satisfied. I prefer this string than the tecnificarse 1.1 mm green and the dynamic 1.2. Strings are at 26 tension. Very nice, a better option and does not fell vibration.

This is a bit harder string than ZX. Been using it since 5 months on all my rackets. Very durable, Lots more power and control. ZX micro is a better string to play with than the ZX. Must try it out if you have not. I hit some of my most accurate and low boasts with ZX micro.

Great to hear. Are you still using them and also what tension? Thanks.
