Reviews

Here’s a roundup I did of 8 current Prince squash rackets, including the Pro Phantom 950:

Product Notes

From Larry in the comments:

Technically the Phantom is the newest replacement for the older Rebel 950, but from our on-court time with both of them they have quite different characteristics. The Phantom is much more head heavy than the Rebel was and does not use the Exo3 system which changes the feel on the ball as well.

The closest racquet in the new range is the Beast Powerbite but be aware there are two versions and you want the newer of the two that weighs 135 grams.

Good evening. I would like to know if the Prince Pro Phantom 950 is the substitute for the Pro Rebel 950, and if it is similar in characteristics and benefits. Otherwise, I would like you to indicate which model of the new range is the most similar to Pro Rebel.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
I have been using this racket for 3 months & trust me the racket has changed my game. Though its little heavy with 133 grams as weight but no complains yet.
Hope its available easily & people will like it as & when they play with it.

    Hi Squashers,

We just received the new Prince Pro Phantom 950.

Don’t be fooled by the 950 number as it is not the same racquet as the old Rebel 950 (Nicol David’s racquet). Yes it still has the Power ring and 03 Speedports but it is not sporting the EX03 system. Similar frame design to the 03 Speedport black model from a couple years back

At 132 grams and a balance of 37.8cm it is for the player who likes a head heavy balance with power to spare.

    Check it out at:

    Happy squashing
