Pierre (or anyone else), do you know the modern alternative to these? Nike fit my feet perfectly but struggling to find a new pair suitable for squash. Thanks in advance, Laurie. →
- Wang junhui on A Short History of Squash:
It seems to be very interesting. →
- Andrew on Karakal T-Pro 120:
I don't know why there aren't more of these used. Such a good racket. Better than a slash. Amazing power, correct balance and precise control. Well done Karakal! →
- Ray on Wilson Pro Staff Countervail:
Tried the 3.0 (2022) version of this racquet (arrived from Germany in 3 days) and I really like it. Identical frame, but string pattern is scooched up from the bottom horizontal sting a fraction of an inch, with all the intermediate strings respaced proportionately so that the sweet spot of the string pattern is displaced ever so slightly toward the tip. And the old Wilson NXT power 18 strings from the version 2.0 are replaced with some make I can't determine, but the racquet plays well for me. Difficult to say for sure that all of the grommet pieces (3-piece) are redesigned or reused, perhaps only the head grommet is slightly changed and the two side pieces are common with the 3.0. Weight as strung before adding overgrip and head tape came in at 153 grams, right in the middle of the range for my previous five version 2.0 Pro Staffs (149-155 grams weighed on a digital scale). Not available in North America or even on Wilson's site in North America, but it does show up on the German language site. Purchased using the provided affiliate link. Thanks. →
- Kimmo on Tecnifibre Suprem Curv Squash Rackets:
After carboflex I felt it heavier and awkward, but now I dont want change back. The little weigt differing is fast adjusted. →
- Alex Harvey on Dunlop Aerogel 4D Elite:

Hi Do you know where I can source replacement Ashaway head bumperbars? They seam to be hard to find. Cheers Dave →
- Adrienne Tait on Wilson PY 138 BLX:
I've played for 30+years and the Wilson BLX py138 is the best for me- have played the best squash since. →
About Squash Source
This is a squash gear website that I run in my spare time. My mission here is to build a side business around helping people learn about squash equipment and find the gear that suits them best. You can learn more about Squash Source here.
Squash Source does not sell squash equipment, but instead links to online squash stores where you can buy equipment. The good thing about this setup is I can post gear from all around the world, without having to keep products in stock.
The way this site makes money is primarily through those links to stores. Sometimes if you buy through one of the sponsored links here, Squash Source will get a commission on the sale. Other times, in exchange for linking to them, stores will send me squash equipment, which I review on the site.
So far, I have linked to squash stores in Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, USA, and the UK! See a complete list of my affiliates here.
You can also support Squash Source directly (and get your own login for commenting on the site).
