Just keeping up with Mizuno for some reason. These are the Mizuno Wave Lightning Z6, successor to the Z5. Men Women
Dunlop put together this great little video about Greg Gaultier: Check out this racket that appears at 2:48 in the video. (Thanks to Lloyd for the tip.) It’s probably an updated version of the Dunlop Precision Elite. I don’t have any insider knowledge, but I’m speculating this racket will be named the Dunlop Hyperfibre XT […]
Here’s a video equipment review I published recently for the 2020 Windy City Open: Below I’ve also included links to the photo albums from the event, plus equipment links for the rackets and shoes used by the players. Photo Albums Finals | Semifinals | Quarterfinals | Day 4 | Day 3 | Day 2 Equipment […]
Finally giving the Salming Cannone PowerLite its own page. 2019 Joey Chan was using it at the 2020 Windy City Open: 2018 Joey Chan also had this model: So did Campbell Grayson:
The Tecnifibre Carboflex Airshaft Junior. It’s Tecnifibre’s junior racket that’s part of their 2020 Airshaft range. It replaces the Carboflex X-Speed Junior.
This is another 2020 model from Tecnifibre that is along the lines of the Cross Speed / Cross Shot. I’m curious what Tecnifibre’s strategy is here. They usually go for higher-priced rackets but these Cross models are definitely more mid-price. I’m not sure if they see that as an untapped market area, or whether recent […]
This is surprising — the Tecnifibre Cross Speed is a Carboflex-looking racket that appears identical to the Tecnifibre Cross Shot other than the name. As with the Cross Shot, this is a lower-cost racket.
The Prince Venom Tour was spotted by prim0pyr0, who says: Looks like a new Venom tour 975 racket is coming out. Has different cross stringing pattern than the previous 950, several shared grommets and top cross is higher. Here’s the previous Prince Venom Pro 950: And the Prince Venom Elite, which is similar to the […]
Head has some new models coming out, which you can see over at sportco.co.nz. Thanks Joe for the tip. Head Graphene 360+ Radical 120 SB New version of the Radical 120 SB. This will probably be Sobhy‘s racket. Head Graphene 360+ Radical 135 SB This is the successor to the Radical SB 135 and probably […]
Nick Matthew was spotted with an updated cosmetic for the Evolution Pro (thanks Lloyd). My guess is this will be named the Dunlop Hyperfibre XT Evolution Pro, in keeping with the other Hyperfibre XT rackets. When it comes out, it will replace the Dunlop Hyperfibre+ Evolution Pro.
